Since 1985: In-house logistics
40 years ago, we started our in-house logistics with just 2 bulk oil tanks, 2 bulk trucks, and 2 packaged trucks in Welshpool, Western Australia. Today, we proudly own a large modern fleet of custom-built packaged trucks, bulk trucks, and bulk oil tankers in each of our 5 depots in different states of Australia, all operated by Statewide Oil’s skilled drivers.
Since 1985: In-house customer support
40 years ago, our first customer support team members used Telex, fax machines, and phone landlines in Welshpool. Back then, there were no mobile phones or the internet. From Telex in Western Australia to a national contact number, our journey has come a long way. Since 1985: Oil and lubrication equipment solutions
Statewide Oil has 40 years of experience in oil and lubrication equipment. Back in 1985, we relied on old-fashioned drums and bulk tanks as IBCs didn’t even exist. The introduction of bulk grease bins began around 1995. Today, we offer a modern and diverse range of storage and dispensing equipment to meet your needs – from bulk tanks, grease bins to self-bunded IBCs, and more.
Since 2004: In-house lubrication engineers and technical support services
40 years ago, we partnered with Mobil lubrication engineers to provide technical support to our clients and had access to the Mobil Technical Helpline. 19 years later, we hired our first full-time lubrication engineer to our team. Today, Statewide Oil has a team of in-house lube engineers supporting both the West and East coast of Australia.
Since 2014: Establishment of Procool coolant brand
11 years ago, Perkal Pty Ltd launched our own coolant brand in Australia. Procool is a series of premium quality coolants that has been tested to be compatible with all automotive, light duty and heavy-duty truck antifreeze/coolant products.
